Help Bring John Clarke’s Story to the Screen

John Clarke – America’s Forgotten Patriot is a cinematic feature film about one of the most consequential—and largely forgotten—figures in the history of American Religious Freedom.

After more than a decade of research and development, the project is entering its final development phase. We are seeking major donors, sponsors, and philanthropic partners who believe John Clarke’s extraordinary story deserves to reach a national and international audience.

The Novel — First 1,000 Books

$17,000 Goal

Our immediate goal is to raise $17,000 to fund the first 1,000-copy printing of

John Clarke – The Fight for Soul Liberty. The novel is the prelude to the

feature film John Clarke – America’s Forgotten Patriot—an expansive, in-depth

telling of a remarkable story that has never before been told in this way.

Years of historical research have made it possible to go far beyond what can

ultimately fit on the screen: bringing to life the people, conflicts, political intrigue,

religious persecution, and extraordinary events surrounding John Clarke’s fight

for Soul Liberty.

The first edition will be produced by Maple Press in York, Pennsylvania, an American

book manufacturer whose history dates to 1901. This first 1,000-copy printing is an

important milestone for the entire project. It puts the full story into readers’ hands,

begins building the audience for the feature film, and creates momentum as

John Clarke – America’s Forgotten Patriot moves through final development.

Novel Sponsorship

Support for the novel can help fund:

  • The first 1,000-copy print run

  • Book promotion and grassroots outreach

  • Author readings and appearances

  • Opportunities to introduce John Clarke’s story to readers, organizations, churches, historical groups, and other communities

  • Audience building for the feature film

Our Goal: $17,000 to put the first 1,000 books into production this fall.
